Holly Madison to Replace Kelly Monaco in Sexy Vegas Show

The Girls Next Door star will become the newest Las Vegas headliner beginning in June when she replaces Monaco in the sultry revue PEEPSHOW, Madison tells PEOPLE.

“I feel like this is perfect for me,” she said Thursday. “I’ve always wanted to be in a really classy, sexy burlesque show.”

Monaco had signed a three-month contract to star in PEEPSHOW, and Madison’s deal will be similar. The Vegas production has quickly become a Dancing With the Stars sorority of sorts. It currently stars Season 1 winner Monaco, 32, as well as Season 5 runner-up Melanie Brown, 33.

PEEPSHOW, which features topless dancers, began last month inside Planet Hollywood. Neither Monaco nor Brown is topless in the show. Madison is also expected to keep covered up. (Source)

Burglars Hit Kelly Monaco’s Vegas Penthouse

Kelly Monaco narrowly escaped a run-in with a burglar who broke into her Las Vegas penthouse early Thursday morning — by hiding behind her bed while it all went down.

Sources tell TMZ Monaco was asleep in her penthouse at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas around 4:00 AM when she heard an intruder banging around inside the living room. We’re told Kelly hid behind her bed — but the bad guy never tried to get into the bedroom.

When the coast was clear, Kelly emerged from her room, saw that her place was trashed, and called police.

Las Vegas P.D. confirms to TMZ a burglary report was filed, but would not confirm what was stolen.

We’re told Monaco is now using a personal security team — and plans on keeping the bodyguards around as long as she’s in Vegas … which could be a while. She’s currently starring in “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood with Mel B.

Planet Hollywood had no comment. (Source)

Kelly discusses “Peepshow”

Here’s your exclusive first look at Kelly Monaco all decked out for her new gig heading a topless revue in Las Vegas. (Sorry to disappoint, but she won’t be baring her boobs.) The General Hospital star and Dancing With the Stars champ will appear alongside ex-Spice Girl and fellow DWTS alum Mel B in “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. The production, directed and choreographed by Broadway hotshot Jerry Mitchell (“Hairspray,” “Legally Blonde”), opens April 18.

“I’m on pins and needles wondering, ‘What have I gotten myself into?’” says Monaco, who has a three-month deal with an option to extend. (GH fans won’t miss her because she’ll fly back to L.A. to tape the soap two days per week). “I’ve said no to so many things since Dancing With the Stars, including Broadway musicals, because I can’t sing — I can barely do karaoke in the privacy of my own home,” she says. “But this is very exciting — a new kind of concept for a Vegas show.”

Monaco takes on the acting-dancing role of Bo Peep, a timid, sexually inexperienced girl who is tutored by the bodacious Peep Diva (that would be Mel B) and blossoms into a daring sensualist. Famous storybook characters — naughty and au naturel — help Bo in her journey of self-discovery.

For the record, Monaco, who posed for Playboy back in her pre-suds days, didn’t rule out going topless in “Peepshow.” But her handlers did. Teases the star: “I don’t know that I would mind it so much, but everyone around me says I’m not allowed.” (Source)

Kelly Monaco to Star in Topless Vegas Show

Former Dancing with the Stars alumni Melanie Brown and Kelly Monaco are trading the ballroom for a Las Vegas stage.

Monaco and Brown – a Dancing winner and runner-up respectively – are set to star in PEEPSHOW, a topless, burlesque-style performance that is expected to open in March at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Neither Brown nor Monaco will be topless, but the showgirls surrounding them will be. Brown will be “scantily clad, but in a classy way,” she says.

Monaco’s character in the show will be “Little Bo Peep,” a timid and lonely girl who is guided by Brown’s character, “Peep Diva.”

“This is an original show,” Brown tells PEOPLE. “The Peep Diva is a diva, but it’s all about empowering Kelly’s part.”

Adds Brown, “This part is great for me. As a Spice Girl I would bring guys on the stage and whip them, so I think I’ve always been slightly naughty.”

The Dancing stars are set to star in the show for several months. A rotation of celebrities is expected to headline PEEPSHOW.
